Steve McJones is a Creative based in Philadelphia, PA.

I am a self driven artist that specializes in screenwriting and directing, looking to create genuine quality art that expresses the emotional truth of human experience, and have fun while doing it. Also, becoming a working professional in the industry would be cool too.

In the fall of 2019, I gave birth to my baby (podcast), “Articulate with Steve McJones” as I explored the post-college world, searching for bigger ideas and meaning within my own creative expression and others’ around me. In 2021, I landed in Philadelphia where I accumulated skills in the standup comedy world, only to quickly jump into acting and filmmaking in 2022. In October of 2024, my directorial debut “No Thoughts!” had a closed premiere that went swimmingly (big fan, personally), and is currently making a film festival run. Shortly after, “FALLING” had a special Halloween release on Youtube.

And on Oct. 21st, 2024, I created this website. Let’s see what else happens.
